Revell Dodge Charger R/T ’68 1:25
Many things are transfigured in memory. The brutal muscle cars of the 70s often made more show than they could actually hold on the street. When Dodge launched a new edition of the Challenger in a chic retro design in 2008, only the look had a historical touch. But now the car delivers what you would expect from a muscle car. The technology under the body corresponds to today’s standard. Modern axle concepts and the huge Brembo brake system ensure first-class road holding and excellent controllability. The new 6.1 liter V8 engine purrs like a kitten despite its remarkable 425 hp performance in normal city traffic, but above 4000 rpm the cat bites loudly hissing. It goes from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 6 seconds and has a top speed of 247 km/h.
